Right in Verona city centre:
a hotel with history
Since 1928, amongst the Romans and leather merchants
When you arrive in Verona city centre, at our hotel in Via Quintino Sella 5, you’ll be walking along a route that already existed in Roman times, running alongside the decumanus that crossed this part of Verona. Here, in 1928, an Art Nouveau-style building was erected: who would have thought that, almost a century later, it would become one of the best hotels in Verona, the city of love? Hotel Touring is, in fact, situated 150 metres from Piazza delle Erbe. The gateway opens out onto Via Mazzini and Galleria Pellicciai, which takes its name from the “Pellissari”, leather workers who were active in this area as far back as the Middle Ages. The same neighbourhood later became the heart of Verona’s Jewish ghetto, part of which was demolished in the early 20th century.
